All members of the Building Blocks community, whānau, Educators and all other employees, recognise the privacy of the whānau attending Building Blocks.
Information on a tamaiti enrolled at Building Blocks is shared only with others who need it to effectively carry out their duties related to that tamaiti.
Appropriate information will only be shared with outside agencies with parental permission unless relevant to the Childrens Act 2014.
Photographic and video footage of tamariki learning experiences recorded on digital devices (either personally owned or the property of Building Blocks) will only be used within the context of documentation of said learning. All documenting will be done in a fair and reasonable manner and in a respectful way.
All personal information (e.g. enrolment forms) will be disposed of in a confidential manner (e.g. shredding). All personal information stored on electronic equipment will be securely deleted before being reused or disposed of.
All online personal information needs to be on secure sites with tight privacy settings and with permission.
